| Birth Parents :: How the Process Works We personally discuss your situation and needs with you. We help you understand the process. You can call us and we can meet or we can send you an information packet . . . at no obligation. Call us at 1-800-456-8001 (409-832-3000) or e-mail us at birth@cradleoflifeadoption.com to have the packet sent to you in a plain envelope. After you have reviewed the packet, feel free to call us to discuss your questions. We will help you with your pre-natal issues and/or locating a doctor. We also discuss the legal issues regarding the birthfather. We take the legal steps to make the adoption process work. While we are pursuing these matters, you will be helping select the adoptive family by reviewing letters and photos submitted by families who have already completed the screening process and been approved. You will be able to spend time with your baby in the hospital, if you desire to do so. When you are ready to sign the final papers, we will be there for you without pressure. In short, we will assist you in every way legally possible to help you make the decision that is right for you and your child. |
